Japanese Vegetable Knife
Client thought this was a meat cleaver resulting in blade being heavily damaged and a large piece chipped off.
After repairing blade, re-profiling and sharpening the edge, remove light rust and reconditioning wooden handle.
Handmade Knife & K-Bar Knife
I repaired these knives for a veteran. Someone attempted to sharpen the knife incorrectly, ruined the blade edge and angle profiles. I cleaned and removed rust, re-profiled edge angles and sharpened. Reconditioned and polished the dried wooden handle and oiled the blade to prevent future rusting. Sorry, I forgot to take Before photos.
Remove minor rust from both blades, reset edge angles and resharpened. This is a very nice looking hand made knife from a hand file.

Right side after re-profiling to correct edge angle for the style knife. It is very sharp and slices smoothly through vegetables now.
Restoration of Fixed Blade
The blade was improperly sharpened and heavily scratched. I re-profiled the edge, removed rust, sanded down the scratched on the blade and polished the brass hardware. Cleaned, sanded and oiled the wood handle.

KA-BAR Knives
Restored a USMC Camillus MK2 KA-BAR style knife pictured on the bottom in the photo below. Cleaned rust off the blade, sharpened and oiled blade. Conditioned leather grommets on the Handle.
The Camillus knife on the top in the photo, is the one my uncle carried in his tour during the Vietnam war. I’ve had this knife since I was 12 yrs old.
Asian Vegetable Knife
Knife was heavily rust and had dull and poorly sharpened edge
Removed and treated the rust. Sanded, oiled and tightened the wooden handle. Re-profiled the edge, sharpened and oiled the blade.
